Dial Anatomy — built for quick reads at a glance

A good clock disappears into the room until you need it. Then it should speak clearly: high contrast numerals, crisp minute tracks, balanced hands, and anti-glare lenses. Our dials are tuned for living rooms, study corners, and kitchens with steam and sun.

  • Balanced hand geometry

Hour and minute hands are weighted to reduce wobble and shadow, keeping the second hand sweep clean and silent.

  • Legible numerals

Typeface with open counters and generous spacing improves readability from across the room and off-axis angles.

  • Anti-glare lens

Micro-etched diffusion softens reflections under tube lights while preserving contrast on matte dials.

Material Lab — finishes that age gracefully

From warm ash veneer to powder-coated steel, we stress-test every surface for Indian homes: humidity swings, kitchen vapors, balcony sun, and everyday wipes. Beauty that survives routine.

Ash wood veneer with subtle grain

Ash veneer · sealed matte

A soft, fingertip-friendly finish that resists smudges and fading. The seal allows wood to breathe while keeping pigments stable under window light.

Lab tests
  • UV exposure: 120 hours — ΔE < 1.2
  • Humidity cycle: 30→80% RH — no lift
  • Cleaning: 500 microfiber passes — no gloss shift
Matte powder-coated metal surface close-up

Powder-coated steel · micro-texture

The micro-texture diffuses light, hides tiny scratches, and pairs well with bright numerals. Sturdy enough for kid rooms and busy kitchens.

Lab tests
  • Salt mist: 24 hours — no corrosion spots
  • Adhesion: cross-hatch 5B (no flake)
  • Heat: 70°C surface — no discoloration

Quiet Sweep — tuned for study nights and sleepy mornings

Our movements glide instead of tick. Inside the housing, dampers and mount geometry reduce resonance, so tables don’t buzz and walls don’t hum. You won’t hear it—until you need the time.

  • Continuous second hand sweep

  • Isolated foot mounts minimize contact noise

Room Guides — the right clock for every corner

Not all rooms tick the same. Kitchens want wipe-clean glass and bright numerals, study corners need quiet sweep and soft contrast, while bedrooms prefer kinder alarms. Use these quick picks when you’re pairing size, finish, and sound with your space.

Mounting & Care — quick checklist for a snug fit

Secure mounts, level faces, and clean lenses keep your clock accurate and handsome. Tap items as you go — they’ll tick green when done.

Tip: replace batteries in pairs, and avoid mixing brands or ages to prevent voltage dips.

Dial Size Finder — choose by viewing distance

Big isn’t always better. A dial should be legible from where you sit or walk past — not dominate the wall. Tap a size to preview a live dial and use the hints below.

  • Up to 2 m: 8–10″ works best for desks and compact kitchens.
  • 2–3.5 m: 12–14″ balances clarity and wall space in living rooms.
  • 3.5 m+: 16″ makes a confident, high-contrast statement.

Finish Swatches — touchable textures

From warm veneers to cool matte metals, each finish is tuned for colorfastness, smudge resistance, and easy cleaning. Scroll the rail; swatches pulse as they pass center.

Quiet Power — batteries that last, movements that sip

A balanced rotor and low-drag hands mean fewer battery swaps. The bars compare typical runtime in our tests; numbers vary with brand and environment, but the pattern holds.

Care tips
  • Replace cells in pairs; don’t mix new and used batteries.
  • Avoid ultra-high-drain cells — stability beats short bursts.
  • Cold balconies can reduce available capacity; keep spares indoors.

Craft & QA — small care, big difference

We log every step: wood sealing, dial printing, press-fit of hands, torque calibration, and final runs. The trail below is the same checklist our team uses on the line.

  1. Dial print & bake

UV-stable inks are baked onto the dial to resist fading and finger oils.

  2. Hand press-fit

Hands are aligned to zero drift; we check minute/second clearance at three points.

  3. Torque & run-in

Movements run for 8 hours under load to settle lubrication and detect outliers.

  4. Final wipe & pack

Lens and bezel are wiped lint-free, then packed in recycled pulp trays.

Packaging — recycled, crush-safe, gift-ready

Clocks travel far. Ours sit in molded pulp with corner shields and a wrap that avoids scuffs. Boxes are printed in soy inks and seal without plastic tape.

  • Molded pulp trays with corner guards
  • Soy-ink prints and low-VOC varnish
  • No plastic tape — fiber-reinforced paper
