Mounting — hook on wall or stand on desk

Most wall models include a keyhole hook; compact alarms ship with fold-out stands. Keep 30 cm of clear sweep.

  • Use anchors on hollow brick or old plaster.
  • Level from two angles to avoid “leaning time”.
  • Desk stands prefer solid, low-vibration shelves.

Monsoon Care — steady time in sticky weather

Indian monsoons bring humidity swings. Keep movements calm with simple habits and smart storage.

  1. Use a small desiccant pack near the clock (not inside the housing).
  2. Replace batteries in pairs and avoid mixing brands or ages.
  3. Wipe lenses dry after kitchen steam sessions; let air-cool.

Edge Details — why trims feel premium

Tiny choices add up: a gentle chamfer to avoid glare, a tighter seam to keep dust out, a matte arc that blurs reflections from tube lights.

  • Chamfered bezels reduce lens hotspots
  • Press-fit seam tolerances under 0.2 mm
  • Bezel arc radius 3–5 mm for soft light roll-off

Care & Warranty Handbook — keep time steady for years

Clocks are simple machines that reward calm habits. This handbook gathers the small routines we follow in the studio and the promises we make after a sale. It is long on the basics — batteries, dust, and level shelves — because these decide how quietly a dial reads at 7 a.m. on a weekday and how well it survives the monsoon.

Everyday care

Set up from the wall outwards: choose a height that clears sight lines, check for glare from tube lights, and make sure the keyhole sits on a true centre. Kitchens prefer wipe-clean finishes; bedrooms prefer soft contrast and quiet sweep. A level shelf or hook keeps the minute hand from drifting and reduces wobble that can sound like “tick noise”.

  • Dust with a dry microfiber cloth; avoid glass sprays on matte lenses.
  • Keep at least 30 cm of free sweep around the clock — no dangling plants or strings.
  • Replace cells together; mixing ages weakens torque and shortens runtime.
  • On balconies: use UV-stable finishes and bring the clock indoors during storms.

If you hear a faint scrape, look for touching hands. Gently nudge them apart with a card edge. If the second hand pauses at the same place each minute, the clock may be slightly tilted — re-level and retest from two angles. A little patience here saves a service ticket.

What the warranty covers

We back our quartz sweep movements and alarm modules against manufacturing defects. The goal is practical reliability: hands that stay balanced, lenses that resist glare, and cases that keep out dust. If a part fails in normal use, we repair or replace it with care.

Movements
Coverage for 12 months on rotor balance, coil, and gear train under normal indoor use.
Lenses & bezels
Defects in material or finish (matte coat, press-fit seams) covered; scratches from mishandling are not.
Hands & numerals
Misalignment at delivery is corrected free of charge; accidental bends fall under paid service.
What voids coverage?
  • Water ingress, corrosion, or insect nests inside the case.
  • Opening sealed housings or modifying hands without guidance.
  • Damage from leaking batteries or power-tool installation.

We keep spares for each line so repairs are quick. If a finish or dial is discontinued, we offer an honest nearest match or a store credit — you choose. Our aim is to return the room to its quiet routine.
